Polidoc

Polidoc Productions is an alliance between filmmakers Babette Hogan and Julie Eisenberg who have decades of health and labor documentary experience.  Through the producers’ individual paths, one as an independent voter, the other as a Democrat, they are determined to tell an untold story about the 2008 Election of the United States of America.

Julie Eisenberg, Filmmaker

Eisenberg has worked in television, video and film production as a writer, producer and still photographer. Growing up in Washington DC, where politics is treated as the town’s team sport, Julie’s career focused on programs concerning the environment, energy conservation, health, housing and organized labor. Her documentary credits include Battle of the Alamo for Discovery Channel and a piece on Environmental Journalism that aired on PBS stations nationwide. Her photographs have appeared in Reader’s Digest, the London Times Sunday Magazine and other publications.

Babette Hogan, Filmmaker

Hogan has received awards for her work in the internationally recognized “Smoke Screen”, “Firefighters in the Sky”, “Sunburst: Children Living with AIDS”, as well as several Mosby health care series. She has also worked extensively in corporate video and commercials, both as talent and writer/producer. She served as the Assistant Director/Associate Producer for the internationally satellited program from “Bioneers” for two years and was the Coordinating Producer for a soon to be released documentary on Wikipedia.  She is editor-in-chief of the Polidoc blog as well as contributing photographer.
